We kind of get a "Brady Bunch feel" they are all close to each other looking at each other and laughing. But you can tell it is still social media because the apps are still present on the screen's perimeter. We are also reinforced by the fact that they are in "Social media hexagons." The narrator says "it's designed to bring friends that are nearby..." the characters all look at each other and a kinnetic energy starts to build. They move away from the center character slowly building energy then they all sling shot back towards the center. When the arrow connects to the friend an orange string shoots out of the phone. Implying that we are connected to a new friend. I immagine it annimating on simmilar to the motion of Spiderman shooting webs. We start our transition by having the "i" in Mombi Meet animate into the phone on the next board by having the tittle slide inside of the body of the "i" Note: The client disliked how we no longer had the earth in the frame even though they previously said that the logo should never be obstructed. (Until she gets introduced to a special friend at the end.) They step forward out of their hexagons and hold hands while the string makes a heart out of their two hexagons negative space. While this second part happens the narrator says "won't become a missed connection." Before the heart fills in the thing that will be connecting our two characters will be the string in the shape of the letter "M". Showing that iO has left behind building blocks. These building blocks have great potential. They are simple and with them we can easily shape tomorrow. We transition into the next scene by having the blocks move into new positions. With the “O” from the logo inside of it. We start to realize that there are possibilities within these problems. The whole time up until this point every transition was moving forward by zooming in by examining. The "arrow piece" is going to expand and become the background" creating a dark blue circle in the extreme foreground. Which will become a "home planet". The square, triangle, and rectangle are going to build a house. After it is completed other houses will then start sprouting up around the dark blue sphere that formed. Our dark green sphere floats in the distance and the rocket reappears floating around it. From there a house sprouts on the far planet. Implying that iO will be building into the future. (or shapping tomorrow) We built the future out of shapes! (Fun.) iO moves us forward quickly with simple but exciting solutions. We have the green atmosphere of the planet shrink down in the form of a circle. The house's walls or white square grow down and connect to the atmosphere, while this is happening the door slides through the roof to create the "I" for the logo. Meanwhile the rocket ship starts flying down towards the I. The idea is that when it connects with the shrinking green circle's border the rocket ship will be wiped off and all that will remain will be the "O" from the logo. I thought by implying the knowledge is locked away and that iO is the only one with the ability to find the solution, would really help push the idea of iO’s simplification. The goal was to have the focus of the shot be extremely centered. The rockets fly into space. Forward towards the future. All three rockets take off and leave get streams that are arrow heads pointing forward towards the sky. This time our transition is no longer a zoom the iO rockets fly off to scout out the future for us. We zoom in and the center which used to look like a keyhole becomes a magnifying glass. My thoughts were that a magnifying glass really embodies "finding solutions" it lets the viewer see that through the lens of iO that you can find the solution you are looking for. (Also fun idea for putting it to motion is that if you stick an “I” and an “O” together you can make a magnifying glass.) The half circles that were grinding together as problems before are starting to come together as solutions. You feel uncomfortable and you know that the spheres are “not right” this is a stressful screen to end on, which is fitting because this is the start to a stressful movie.
